Did you know that in the lawn tractor circles it's against the law to almost steal ?

Now if you'd sell it to me with a 5 percent mark up :licking: we could drop the charges .

I hear that!

All I can say is Craigslist is a wonderful thing, but you have to be looking ALL THE TIME to find gems like this.

Here's a video of it running:

Murray 11/36 Cold Start and Running - YouTube

Turns out the engine pulley is bent and has probably 1/4"-3/8" runout causing the deck to shake while engaged, and the deck belt is too short keeping the blades engaged all the time. Both easy fixes, but I bought it to resell and will not put any more time/money into it.

I'm toying with the idea of parting it out on fleabay; I've never parted one out before and think this would be a good one to try. I know this one is too nice to part out and some will shudder at the thought.

I normally buy newer riders that need some tinkering and flip them for profit as a hobby, but the season is pretty much over and ebay seems like a good option for guys that might be doing winter builds or repairs.

Or, perhaps guys here on the forum could use parts and I could help out in that manner. I have access to boxes, packing supplies and UPS shipping where I work so the opportunity is there.

Which option is better?

Well, I had an offer for $160 so I ripped the guys arm off and it left my shed last night; it's hard to turn down a quick profit.
