If I were to just sharpen my lawnmower blade on my Poulan Pro rider, I know I must raise the front end up in order to get at the blade but, by not draining the oil from the engine, and by lifting the front end up, will that make it difficult to start when I drop it down? Someone said, by lifting the front end up and not draining the oil could allow oil to get in the carburator and make it difficult to start. Anyone with an answer please reply to; carlcap1491@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I lift the front of riders every day to about a 45 degree angle to remove and reinstall mower blades. the oil will run to the back of the engine which doesn't cause problems, , but some gas may get past the float do to the angle, but no major issues will occur.
