Need some gurus on Tecumseh carbs and linkage. bought new carb, installed, will not start without shooting starting fluid into it. then it takes off and playing with chioke and throttle can get it to run. sometimes. Have feeling it is in the linkage. not familiar with tecumsuh carbs, but is sure different then what I am use to. ie briggs.
Valves are properly lashed. New sparkplug. Plenty of spark. do not havfe number of LM, but carb is: TTP358Ug2RA.
any help greatly appreciated.

I have found these sites ( links ) have quite a bit of info. on Tecumseh products, Tecumseh had way too many types and models of carburetors for my liking but that's the way it was !
As stated Tecumseh has too many carb to guess at solutions. Second, the carb number you provided does not look like any Tecumseh part number I’ve ever seen. Where did you get that carb and that number? Please post your Tecumseh model and spec numbers so we can see what you are looking at.
