Before I tear it down I have a question. Start with the basics. Cub Cadet LT 1050, Kohler 720-010, 23 HP. It has all the symptoms of no compression release. Turns over fine with the plugs out but not with them in.
What I've done so far.
New battery
New starter
Adjust valves (.oo4/.006)
From what I have found this motor does not have the plastic cam gears and the cams I can find pictures of look like a standard 4 lobe cam.
So my question is. How does compression release work on this motor?
