Briggs runs and cut off

I have a 22HP briggs twin cylinder. You can choke It and it will start and run for 10 seconds and cuts off. You can start it again and the same thing. If you try to choke it again before it stops it wont keep running. After it stops you can start it again. Thanks Boyd Dawson

Time to have the carb cleaned and rebuilt, as something is either blocking the main fuel jet and/or the float level is too low.

Blow out the vent in the gas cap. That may solve your problem. If not, check to make sure gas is flowing properly from the tank to the carb.
