Briggs choke-a-matic on mower with manual choke setup

What's the best option if I were to order an engine that has the choke-a-matic setup already, but my mower is manual choke currently. Can I just adjust the length of pull for my throttle cable somehow, and do away with the manual choke cable. I'd rather not disassemble the new engine just to get a manual choke option back. I am familiar with their operation, I don't care whether I have manual or choke-a-matic honestly.

Do not hook up the choke cable.

It's that easy? lol.

I figured I would have to tweak something somewhere to make it work, since my throttle cable may not have the correct length of pull, etc..

Guess it's worth a shot, if that's the only thing hindering my purchase.

To change a choke-a-matic over to manual on a newer model briggs V-twin, refer to http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/showt...atic-over-to-manual-choke?p=275346#post275346
