I have a Bunton mower with 31hp briggs stratton lcg engine and i have to always manual choke to start but lately if is sits long it is hard to get gas back to carb. It has a briggs stratton 825232 carb and wonder is it a check valve in it, once the mower cranks it runs find, just really bad cold starts

More than likely the check valve went "bad" not sure tho.

Hello. Briggs part number 825232 shows to be the fuel pump, not the carb. Maybe you mixed the numbers up?

It is the fuel pump number but I think its the fuel pump that is causing the carb to be hard to start, seems it looses prime
