Hello I own a Briggs and Straton 12H802 2640 . The governor stopped working. in order to maintain an idle I had to manually control it. The governor would not push out. I removed it and everything looks normal. How can check if it is bad? Now when reinstalling it how do you line up the cover with the governor arm? How do you know if it installed properly ?Please help me its been a long project. this all happened when my kids wired the governor wide open and the motor quit . It still runs but I control the idle.
