Scratching my noggin trying to figure out this problem. As I am cutting grass for no reason my mower quits and will not start until it cools down. Yes it has spark, fuel, and all filters are new. The plug is good because I checked the spark with it. What am I missing? Should be simple huh?:confused2:

Next time it quits turn the key off and on a few times, and listen for the click of the fuel solenoid on the carb. No click then the solenoid is the problem.

Sometimes a fuel tank cap has a blocked vent ........ might be worthwhile to check ......... Boobala

No clicky clicky, so as I turned the key I tapped the solenoid and it started.
Much thanks.....Scott
