Barricade then Tenacity one month later?

I spoke with a representative of the manufacturers of both chemicals, and was told that one should apply Barricade and one month later Tenacity. Have any of you used this routine, and if so, was it effective? The lawn has some nimblewill. Previously I applied only Tenacity every three weeks X 3.
