Hi everyone, i have a lt2000 craftsman rider 247.28853, i was mowing the other day when all of a sudden, the auto drive pedal became very hard to push, mower slowed right down, it runs fine but i cant push the drive pedal down, thought maybe it was the belts so i change the two drive belts but that didn't fix the problem, don't see any obstructions. any ideas what is causing this? it feels like when you put the brake on and try and depress drive pedal it won't depress. it rolls fine in neutral and can chug it along in forward and reverse. any ideas what to look for? Thanks Jim

Take the deck off
Remove the battery
put some food wrap plastic over the fuel filler then put the cap back on tight
Stand the mower up on the back wheels
Take some photos & post them
If you can not stand it up on the back wheels then lay it over on it's side with a carb side UP
Male sure you are back far enough to get all of the underside in a single photo
Sit the camera on something solid so the image is clear & sharp

Might of found a way, in second pick you can see belt hitting I think what ya call idler bracket. Seems to be what's holding up belt?Screenshot_20230816-092231_DuckDuckGo.jpgScreenshot_20230816-092933_Gallery.jpg
