I have a Liberty Z 48" w/Kawasaki FR651V. I know to engage the blades at about 3/4 throttle. Does it matter at what rpm to dis-engage?

Personally it would better at a low rpm as the clutch brake (deck braking) would not cause as much wear on the brake. But this is just my opinion.

Unless the operator's manual mentions it , i'm not going to be concerned with my X350 about either engage or dis-engage .

That's what I've been doing. I'm no Mr. Goodwrench, but it just seemed logical. Thanks for replying.
