hey guys .

up for sale is a mower that the seller has had for about 4 years , and bought from a older guy that he doesnt think used it commercially . he personally used it for his yard.

its a 2005 scag 48" belt drive . good shape, and it would make sense its a 2005 from the shape its in .
i am checking it out today or tomorrow .
he replaced the blades with gator blades , had the carb cleaned and right tire has a new tube . thats about it .

one problem ... no hour meter on the dash and no model or serial on the mower deck or by the engine like i thought its supposed to be . so we cant tell the year made . i know it shouldnt matter but for peace of mind and if i ever resell it (doubt it) it would be beneficial to know .

i do have the kawasaki fc420V 14hp model and serial if that helps .
kawsaki 14HP
CODE fc420v-hs09
E/NO FC420VB92158

or at least let me know what its worth . im in a heavy residential area .. so there are quite a few walk behinds for sale around me ... probably about 20 within an hour that are decent, but most are too expensive for me .

Pretty beat up for one that was only used by home-owners. Might be ok, but I personally would look for one in better shape.

I found out it's a mid 1990s model ill check it out to compare it to a different hydro unit I am looking at as well.

Scag is selling for 650 .

No worries . I decided to buy a residentially used bobcat hydro 48 inch with bagger and sulky . Cut the grass and already love it
