John Deere is very good about sharing there part numbers. I would make a list of all the parts you will need for the repair go on the web and get all the part numbers. You just aren't going to get anywhere without all the model, serial, and part numbers. They made that model tractor for 8 years. As said early start with E-Bay and also get in touch with some mower salvage yards. The wiring harness may be repairable? breather, don't know what you mean by that, maybe filter buy it new, dash might be a little hard to find, and steering wheel you might make something else work?
