my snapper rer has 3" elongated cylindrical hub covers on the back wheels. Is there a special way of removing these - other than prying it off and tearing it up? I'm needing to put a tube in the L tire.
thanks

I use an oil seal removal tool, sort of like a T with a bit of a hook at each end of the top.
If you are careful they will prize off without damage.

They have a flange on the back side. They are not designed to come off without removing the wheel. Once the wheel is off, just push it out.
