2015 Raptor Front Wheel Bearing Play

I recently bought a 2015 Hustler Raptor 52 inch deck from a co-worker late last season. This past weekend I removed the front caster wheels to have the tires replaced by a local shop. I greased the bearings and re-installed the tires myself and noticed there is a decent amount of play in both front wheel assemblies after they're tightened down. Attached are what the wheel bearings look like. Is some degree of play normal for this style of bearing? I don't see how the castor forks would be able to compress enough on both ends of the wheel to make things any tighter. Thanks for any help!
