Hi. I have a 1998 20 hp Briggs ran fine I hit a tree it started to pop out of the carb I rebuilt carb ran fine for a few hours now wants to stall when blades are on pulled Plugs they both had black dry carbon on them. Oh and before carb rebuild would only run on full choke. Thank you for any help

Your timing is off just a bit... check the flywheel key at the point it bolts to the crank... You will have to pull the flywheel, just a little tweak in that key will cause you timing problems... :smile:KennyV
That black suit on your plugs is caused by an over richmixturecaused by the running at full choke. If it will not runwithout the choke then the carb needs either adjusting or cleaning, or both.
