1969 Murray rear engine mower for sale. Still runs and cuts grass but smokes a little. A good candidate for restoration. This is the mower shown in the 1969 Murray sales add featuring Jack Nicholas standing beside her on the golf course. Mine came slightly different with a 2 speed transmission , all black steering wheel and seat and no chrome caps on the rear tires. Pickup only in suffolk Va. Make an offer.

Hi, thank you! The colors are very similar but I believe mine is metallic gold like the one in the second picture.
oops, I take that back, I had the wrong picture up there. I added a third picture. Mine looks like the color in the third picture which I believe is metallic gold.
Man if I were near you in Suffolk, I would surely purchase it. That would make a nice restoration if it is still in decent shape. I see by the ad it came in flamboyant olive also. :laughing: They were into flamboyant in 69!
The ads are very nice in themselves. Between the Golden Bear and Arnie they sold a lot of mowers as well as winning a lot of tournaments. Good luck as it should sell to someone soon.
