I have a 12.5 briggs inteck 219807 the gov teeth were all chewed off so I replaced it and it ran fine. now it just seems it dosen;t have any power. the engine seems to be running at top speed. there is just no power. will the carb do that. I pull the gov manually and it doesn't speed up. its a niki carb.

Valuable information is what it means if you take the time to read it. Check flywheel key for replacement as well as air filter. Also replace the carburetor if you think it's the problem.What does that mean? I have a manual, I just wanted to know if anybody new if the carb would do that.
