Is there a way to find/get the model number for my Craftsman (MTD made) 159cc self propelled push mower? The model sticker came out a few years ago. There is a metal MTD tag on the side of the BS motor but it only tells what oil to use. I drug it out yesterday to mow the yard and the wheels...

Trying to remove the Drive wheel using puller and mallet, it did come off but axle came off too. Axle is back on and secure but need to refill fluid. Question is how much and what type?

The machine has a 12hp 42 inch deck that in 2020 I installed a YTX12-BS battery (10Ah/180CCA) Can/should I use a ST5L-BS (4.5Ah/80CCA)? Was the first battery selection overkill?
