Snapper 214X2PR. Carb problem.

I have and old Snapper that was given to me. I've had it for 3 years. When I got it, it had not run in years. I cleaned the carb and she was good as new. It has sat for the past 2 years. I got it out yesterday to get it running to put on CL to sell. As I was cleaning the carb I noticed the float pin was seized. I took a punch and got it halfway out. I then used a pair of pliers to get it the rest of the way out....Then the top of the float tower broke off Does anyone have a carb for a Wisconsin w1-145v/ey15v???? Or is there a kind of putty/adhesive resistent to gas? I need help if anyone can help please let me know.
