    Dixon ztr 542 no spark? Help!

    This mower has no spark to the plugs. Any suggestions?

    WELCOME to LMF...
    Disconnect the kill wire AT the engine... If you then have spark, the problem is in the key switch OR the safety interlock switches... KennyV

    Kenny is right the first thing to do is isolate the engine and chassis.

    TORO,JACOBSEN,CRAFTSMAN

    Check the seat & brake & blade safety . If one of those failed there is no spark . Your joy sticks have a push button safety on each handle . Seat and brake are contact switches.
    If that's not it then look at the wire harness for mice damage make your way to the coil for the spark plug .
