Replacing bumper on John Deere LT155
I broke the bumper hinging mechanism on my LT155. The large hood portion is NOT damaged, but the "bumper" part broke free from the frame of the mower.
I purchased a new bumper (the broken part) and have it in hand. It appears that all the parts needed, including attaching bolts and fittings, are here.
Can anyone tell me which to attach first? Do I attach the new bumper to the mower frame first, then attach the hood to the bumper, or should I attach the hood to the bumper while both are separate from the mower, then attach the entire assembly to the mower?
Sometimes the order of assembly can make the job possible, or it can make it near impossible.
Does anyone know where I should start this process?
