Simplicity rider
I have a simplicty riding mower model 2690575 (Regent) 22 H Briggs engine. While mowing the deck shut off. I moved to the driveway to check some things out and shut the engine off. After seeing no loose belts or anything obvious, I decided to try the mower again. This time it wouldn't even turn over. I checked the battery and that was fine. I found a bad fuse and replaced it with the same size 20 amp fuse. The rider will now start for me but if I engage the deck or release the brake the engine dies. I removed the deck to inspect it to make sure nothing is binding or restricting rotattion of the pulleys. My thinking is a safety switch some place, nut not sure where to start.
