WELCOME to LMF...
White is generally not smoke but rather Steam ...
Black smoke = too rich, too much fuel.
Blue smoke usually oil burning.

If you have not changed oil recently, you may have a bit of condensed moisture burning off...
If you have recently changed oil it could be oil spill on something that gets hot, or the oil may be over filled.
If the carb is not cutting the fuel off when engine is not running, the fuel could be running into the oil & causing it to be overfull and that is what you are seeing....

Check the oil level and give it a good look over... :smile:KennyV

Smell you oil for gas contamination . If you don't use a fuel shut off valve you could have a carb leak via intake valve with might be open when the motor is off .
Oil gets hot and the fuel ignites causing white smoke .
