Like the title says, my mower refuses to move. The drive belt spins when the clutch is released, but the rear tires are locked, as if the brake is on. I took the brake apart, put it back together and mechanically, it seems to be functioning as it should.

I'd really prefer to fix this myself, does anyone have any ideas?

Remove the rear wheels and check for a broken axle key.

My craftsman mower has a lever at the back , behind the seat, between the wheels, that allows you to roll the mower when its turned off. The mower will not move when running if this is engaged. Sometimes its the simple things...
