Here is a dumb question. I am having trouble removing the quick release universal from my 616. It seems like it shouldn't be rocket science however the bugger is not coming off. Any secrets out there other than muscle? It's not like its been on there forever either I just tried to put it on and it's not seated 100% so I thought I would take it off and try again but it's not backing off. UGH!

Export threadI did soak it in wd-40. I pulled on the outer ring and not much luck. Dispatched a friend and with four hands and carefully tunking and pulling it came loose. It appears the 616 had never had the mowing deck removed. I had a different quick coupler that came with the snow thrower and while I lubed it w/wd-40 it wasn't enough. So we got it removed cleaned the splines that had built up some rust lubed with some amsoil synthetic grease and it goes on and comes off with ease. I will definitely put a bit of grease on this spline when changing out implements.
