Cub Cadet, LTX 1050 VT, transaxle

I am finding oil from the transaxle on the left side rear axle which leads me to believe I should top-up the oil in the transaxle. How do I access the oil fill hole? Do I: (1) Drop the mower deck, jack-up the machine and access it from underneath? (2) Remove the rear-left wheel and access the fill-hole it from the side? (3) Other?
