fuse blowing

Hello all, this is leonard down here in mtn city,tn, i have a 99 troybilt ltx133 lawn tractor that keeps blowing the 30 amp fuse as soon as you plug it in, i have un plugged the pto, igntion switch and pto switch and it still blows the fuse as soon as u put it in, sometimes when i havntnt started the mower i can put a fuse in and start the mower and start the blades, it will run for about 10 seconds and it will blow the fuse, then i can start the mowert by turning the switch on and start it with a screw driver across the solenoid terminals but the electric clutch wont work due to the blown fuse. there is only 1 fuse in the circuit, the 1st time it quit i replaced the fuse and it started but quit after 10 seconds and smoke did come up through the motor and smelled like a burnt clutch. any ideas?.
