I recently purchased a used craftsman 2500 psi pressure washer with a B&S 675 engine. When I bought and tested the washer did not leak oil and did not blow smoke. I got the engine home and washed our deck and the engine leaked oil from high to low level in 45 mins and was burning oil on the exterior of the engine/washer. I let it set over night and reused it the next day and it still leaked oil and smoked. Any help would be appreciated.

Which way did you tip the unit when you washed the deck? If you tipped it so the carb was down, you filled the carb with oil. Check the air filter. If it is oil soaked, you tipped it the wrong way. Replace the filter and after running for awhile the oil smoke should clear up.

Check the oil filler tube for cracks, bad seal etc.
