I have searched the forum for any instructions on dis-assembly of steering components but have not found what I need. I hope this is the correct place to post this question.
My steering is seized pretty good. I have worked it loose so that the kingpin assemblies are moving, but I would really like to pull these, clean and lube them and reinstall. I cannot get them to come out of the rocker bar assembly. I have removed the e-clips and I can't see any pins that hold them in. I tried driving them down with a hammer and there is no movement.
If you look at the attached diagrams. I want to drop part number 40 and 41 (king pin assemblies) down out of part number 34 (rocker bar assemblies).
Is there a trick to getting these out? Am I missing a pin that holds them on?
Thanks in advance.
