I have a problem with my Troy-Bilt riding lawn mower, when i engage the blade for it to cut, it cuts some ,then it just quits pulling, it want go, i can hit the clutch to put it in 7 gear and it goes, but again quits moving. do anyone know what is wrong with it,someone said the belt, but i put a new drive belt on it. And someone said the pully bearings may be bad..anyone know what to do...thanks

Not running and In gear with the brake off - look and reach the drive belt . The tension should be very tight . Even I have missed a loop on a belt change and had the belt pop off .
Some machines have a bolt and rod adjustment to take slack out of the belt .

ok thanks will check that, but as of right now it's running ok...and the belt was tight yesterday ,i think it was the grass and debree all under it.....thanks for the info,.

Debry will make brakes not work- belts not work and make air cooled bearings over heat and fail early
