My 14.5 hp briggs finally gave up the ghost on a used Snapper RER I've had for a few years. I have a used 13.5 hp briggs that I'm replacing it with. It came off of a different RER that has a shot rear end and was running fine when the transmission went. That was about a year ago. It should still be fine. The trouble is I can't get it to turn over. I think I've hooked up all leads correctly and I'm using a battery with plenty of fire but somewhere I've goofed. I've tried pull starting and the compression is good. Is there something I can reference that shows the proper places for all the wires to go? Maybe a way to check to see if the solenoid is good or maybe some other problem that could cause the engine not to turn over at all? Thanks for any help anyone can give.
