Hi guys, still pretty new here so if this is in the wrong forum, let me know!

I don't currently own this mower, so my information on hand is limited.

He says the flywheel is bent where the starter engages it.. and doesn't run. The engine does turn over though.. Is this something that's expensive/difficult to repair?

any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Sounds like the ring gear on the flywheel is damaged. Some of the flywheels have a plastic ring gear that can be replaced with an aluminum ring gear. Most have a non repairable ring gear and will require replacing the flywheel, which isn't overly expensive but is not cheap. May be able to find a used flywheel off of another engine.

Ok, so maybe around $100-200? if I took it in to a professional.

Thanks for your reply!
