Have a Honda 215 GC that has problems when I try and engage blade. It takes several attempt to engage blades and get them to spinning, mostly dies but have to keep trying...getting worse.
Any Clues??

Check the air cleaner... when it gets a sudden load it dumps a rich mix of fuel... if anything restricts air flow it will bog down and most likely die... :smile:KennyV

clean the carburetor if you haven't done so already (use compressed air if available) and clean the passages out, also check the fuel filter (drain the fuel tank, and pull the line from the tank, the filter should be on the end of the line). the carburetor could also be out of adjustment (refer to your owners manual, it may tell you how to adjust it, but it only will if it is an older mower. (1989-back)

Hope this helps
