i have a JD LX 277 with Kawasaki 17 eng. As it warms up it is spitting oil out a 1 inch seam between the oil pan and the eng. I have tighten the bolt below the leak but no help-it was loose a bit. Is it wise to add an additive or should I just replace the seal? Is this something that i can do without a lot of specialized tools?
