I don't know what you all do on the fourth but we have a big family get together after the community fireworks. A family member shoots off some more for us. I'm in the house taking a break from the festivities. We've got midnight lawnmower races going on. My bet is on the Deere taking the win for the night. Does anyone else have crazy holidays with mowers?

Kentucky can't be the only place where we have a riot with all of our gear. I was hoping to hear other's tales of crazy fun, but heh, I guess we have a lock on it.:confused2:

You know, I had never heard of mower races until a couple of weeks ago. I'm on the west coast and apparently these races are only now gaining popularity here. It's a kick to watch those races. I never would have imagined these.

I guess it takes some time for such down home joys to travel out to the coasts. But aren't they fun!! And a nice excuse for getting together and for getting some sun (except for midnight rides - then its moonlight).
