Got a LA105, I turned it off one day, but it wouldn't crank back up. I changed spark plug, fuel lines, fuel pump. Still nothing! I ran fuel line from the gas tank straight to carb and it runs as long as the gas level is above the fuel filter. But when it gets below that, the gas to the carb slows down but I don't let the carb get empty. No gas thru the old or new fuel pumps? WTF????

It sounds like there may be a problem with your pulse line that drives the fuel pump. Right off hand I do not recall if it is connected to the crank case breather or the intake manifold but I would begin there since it does run off a gravity feed.

I had the same problem with my LA105. It turned out to be a vacuum of the fuel filter. I replaced the filter, primed it and ran fine. A telltale sign with be when you remove the fuel cap and you hear a sucking action with the tank expanding.
