Hi All,
I just replaced the transmission drive belt on my CC LT1045 and would like to know if anyone has experience in replacing the trans. drive belt for a 2004 Murray 42" 17.5hp BS engine. Manual transmission.
A lot of folks laugh and make fun of my Murray, but I have to tell you, it runs when all my other mowers have broken down. I bought the Murray new in 2004 and have used it frequently. I've only done oil changes, spk plug changes and deck belt and blade changes. Other than that, nothing has gone wrong. I have noticed the trans drive belt is getting worn looking, so I know it needs replaced. Any guidance would be helpful.
