try 190707-0799-99 instead. some of the old engines use a generic trim number. 19 series engines are normally 8 hp. The 11 hp should be a 23 series if I remember correctly.

19 series are a 8 HP .... What parts are you looking for ???? If you are searching for a part number in the Briggs site then the model number only not the Type numbers..... Unless you are looking for the parts manual....

If you are looking up the manual on the Briggs site then only the Model and type are typed in.. Not the - 01 or - 99

Just 190707 0799 with no dash.....

well 8hp and year of 1973 that tells me it's not original seeing machine yrs were 79-81
I also just pulled head do to low compression and found the exh valve seat hanging out. After cleaning i seen previous repair attempts to peen the seat but failed. Along with the pcv breather assembly was drilled out??? I guess ill look for a modern ohv engine. Thanks for info tho!
