I opened a Small Engine Shop here in N.E. Mississippi back in February. I am flabbergasted by the amount of work that is coming my way. Thanks to 10% Ethanol fuel, I've been doing an amazing amount of carburetor cleanings. So many in fact, that I bought a Carburetor Leak Detector. It draws a small vacuum on the fuel inlet to check the needle-to-seat seal. I takes 10 seconds to confirm the seal after the carb has come out of the ultrasonic bath and saves the grief of reinstalling a carb only to have fuel pour out of the overflow. It's kind of pricey for the weekend warrior mechanic, but if you're doing a lot of carb work, it's well worth the investment.

This is the point where I would normally insert a Hyper-link, but alas I am a newbie on this site and have not made my "bones" with 5 post. So, you'll have to do the work yourself by Googling Stens part # 705-020 until I have proven my worthiness.
