No self propel

After changing the clutch cable on my Honda HHR 2168VYA, I have no self-propel operation. When pushing the propel handles, it acts as though the pin slips and wont engage the handle. Ive checked the cable and it does move, although it seems like a lot of tension from the spring. Any suggestions would be helpful.

What about the drive belt, have you check that.

Belt is good and still on the pulley.

IT MAY BE THAT YOU INSTALLED THE PIN INCORRECTLY . LOOK AT THE WAY THE PIN IS INSTALLED.
