So the old guy next door passed away and his kids had a yard sale.

I bought a 1988 agway lawn tractor for $50. Changed plug, fuel lines, filters, oil etc.. and it runs great.

Blades are toast though. Sharpened them as best as still possible and mowed with it to test it.

Now im looking for blades but I see nothing with a diamond shaped center hole.
Only number I could see on the blades was r91212 but a google search shows nothing .

So now I don't know what to do, how can I replace the blades? Do I need to find a new blade adapter to fit a star or circle blade hole?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Forget the computer and go to a real mower repair shop.
Oregon , Stens & Rotary all make blades that fit on diamond pattern blade carriers.
Take your old ones for them to match up against.
I know this will come as a shock but Google does not know everything
