IF you just got yourself a brand-new mower, Congrats !! now take a brief amount of time to save yourself some possible headaches down the road, find a record ALL the numbers found on your machine, ( model, serial, etc. usually the engine info. will be on the engine itself, the transaxle(s) will also have THEIR own stickers/ tags, on some models the cutting deck will have it's own info. and the mower will have its own, DON'T confuse the SERIES number of the mower for the MODEL numbers, obtain and hang onto the operators manuals for each item, TRY to obtain the factory Service AND Parts manuals, for each item also, Now get out your camera, and take pic's of all the springs (both-ends) on the engine, carburetor, linkages, the cutting deck, and the mower, also the deck, mower and engine themselves, TRUST ME !! ALL this will be well worth the time and effort you spend doing this ! it will be YOUR own personal Manual will will PROVE to be quite valuable at a later date. ..

Awesome advice Boo Boo ~!~!

Also it's a heck of a lot easier to see numbers on a Brand new shiny "rear end" verses one that is full dirt and sand and all that stuff when sitting at the beach or lakeside shore LOL........

Actually I'm being serious on seeing numbers like an 8 or a 6 cause they look alike on a grimy surface.....

Great advice Boo ........ Also write the info on the manual or paperwork, so it's easy to find in the future instead of bending down and looking at a rear end .......... Nuff said ~!~!

Plus Tard Mon Ami ~!~!
