Craftsman ez walk 917.377794

My blade engagement lever was broken. I just replaced it (with the new cable provided). When I push it forward the blades engage. The problem is that they don't stay engaged. When I let go of the lever the blades stop. I can't find any way to adjust the cable. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks, Saintjay
