Hello, I have a HRR2165vxa and I just replaced the carburetor. After replacing it, the mower worked and sounded much better, however there was still that little surge every 10 seconds or so
I mowed my lawn and it began stalling out. I then realized I didn’t hook that breather tube back up to the air filter compartment. I hooked it up and it worked fine
As I’m just about to finish the mower Began dying out. I would start it back up it would work for a strip or two and it then died again. It will not start now
I took the air filter off and gas fumes began pouring out the carb as well as a bit of white smoke from the exhaust. I’m just trying to figure out what I screwed up. Thank you
**After typing this I went back to the mower and gas was dripping from the carb and when I tried to pull start it gas came out from the exhaust. I ended up tightening the bolts and giving it a few minutes and now it seems to be working...is that just a temporary fix or will loose bolts cause that?
Thanks again and I apologize for the length of the post
