Hello to all !
I have a 1998 John Deere 425 with 350 hours on it. During the winer while I was plowing snow, the engine just quit.
After a little checking I have determined, no spark situation.
LED green light is on when seat down and brake on, checked all fuses, replaced ignition delay, igniter box, cleaned all contacts and still no spark
I cannot see 2 coils going at same time, is their any way to isolate and test them
Any suggestions would be most helpful

Cheers

It would help if you told us which engine you have in your tractor. We have no clue if you are dealing with a single coil, dual coils or a electronic system with ignition modules or relays.

Should be the Kawasaki FD620D gasoline 2-cylinder liquid-cooled V-twin OHV 617 cc [37.7ci ] engine. if so check to see if you have 12 volts on the + (yellow/white wire) on the coils when key switch is set to run.
