Hi all,

I have a craftsman 20 HP tractor purchased in 2011. If I'm cutting grass and I turn left then the blade will disengage/stop spinning. It can be just a slight left turn, doesn't have to be hard. Then when I straiten out the blade re-engages. Nothing happens when I turn right. This started happening all of a sudden after I squeezed through a tight spot between two rocks and the deck lifted up a little bit on the right side. The belts seem OK. What else could it be?

Thanks

Sounds like an electrical connection or wiring issue. I'd check the wires and connectors for the PTO both at the switch and at the clutch as well as the seat switch.

wiring issue I would also say check the connection and wiring, without the engine running check all the parts that move when you turn to the left rods/ bottom end of the S/wheel look for something that's pulling on the wire or connection.
