It's a hot day in May and passed time to start mowing. I tried it this morning and nothing happened. I thought there was no gas in it when I applied the new gas. In other words, I thought I was applying gas to an empty mower. I used good new gas that has no ethanol in it. The warranty states that my gas must not have ethanol, or I cannot use the warranty any more. I have been careful to use ethanol free gas for as long as I have had this mower. I also checked the oil and found some on the stick. It is passed the warranty expiration date. I am not a lawn mower expert. I have had little or no trouble out of this thing and loved it. I remember having trouble cranking it before when it was the first cranking of spring. I just had to be patient and keep trying all those other times. Am I just being lazy and need to keep trying to crank it? I wish it had one of those buttons that prime the mower. The string pulls with difficulty, but it does pull. It just doesn't crank.:frown:

:welcome:

Now to get things right here,
You are pulling the starter cord.
There is resistance when you pull the cord but the engine is not rotating .
