Hi! I'm a new owner of a John Deere JX75 that was given to me by my brother who had 2 and downsized and only needed 1 ~ lucky me! It's a great mower! I don't have a manual for it yet and the shift lever moves freely between 1 and 3 then won't go any farther.
I don't know if you shift while it's not moving, moving, handle engaged, not engaged, etc. but I've tried pretty much every combination and it won't change speed.
Where do I start or any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
